Jail Roof Update

Work is progressing on the Jail roof! In removing the asphalt shingles the original metal roof was discovered below. The original specifications for the building called for a metal roof painted red. We are trying to determine if the metal uncovered was painted red. Stay tuned.

Holiday shopping for the history buff.

Stop by the Arnold House on Saturday, December 13, 2010 and visit our gift shop. We have local history books, toys, pie plates, posters and notecards. Open from 2 pm to 4 pm. We accept cash, check and credit card.
